How to Maximize Storage Space with Sloped Ceilings

Old homes with sloped ceilings and too little closet space can be challenging for homeowners. When Buxton called Chase Cabinetry, he was looking for a way to increase storage space and add a closet in a small bedroom. The sloped ceilings presented no problem for Chase Cabinetry’s design for this project. The design adds extra storage, maintains a feeling of openess in the room, and maximizes the space by incorporating the angle of the ceilings and walls into the finished cabinets and closet.

This project involved refacing existing cabinets, with the addition of an island and pantry. Another happy customer! Quartz counters turned out great too! Just needs the tile backsplash for the finishing touch.

Client Review Kitchen Renovation Project RH-S-082017 “We had CHASE CABINETRY reface our kitchen as well as build us an island and pantry. Chase did a great job, our kitchen makeover looks amazing. Not only is he a skilled cabinet maker he is personable and willing to work around a family’s busy day. I was dreading a kitchen reno but you made it a pleasurable experience! I look forward to having CHASE CABINETRY back for some bathroom makeovers in the near future. Thanks Chase!” – Ruth H-S.

A Stand-out with Decorative Details

Chase Cabinetry’s client required custom mantels and wanted to add some decorative touches. We worked together on the design for this project and the results turned out great. In order to make the best use of space on the side of the mantel we included a nice little built-in shelving unit. The decorative trim work adds a finishing touch.

Beautiful Two-Tone Kitchen with Decorative Finishes

This kitchen cabinet refacing project highlights the beauty of using different but complementary colours on your kitchen cabinets. By using white for the upper cabinets and introducing glass doors, the kitchen maintains a brighter more spacious feel. The dark bottom cabinets add the warmth and beauty of wood to the room.

Our Client Always Has the Final Say

Client Review Kitchen Renovation Project AMN-052017 “Chase was the core of my kitchen design. Chase designed the wonderful cabinetry and placement to make great use of space. He came out and was precise with measurements as well as recommendations. I originally wanted all dark cabinets; however, Chase did an interactive design complete with colours and placements of my appliances for me to picture. I went with two toned and the rest was easy to design. I highly recommend Chase as he is a professional cabinet maker and worked so well with my other contractors and came out to help and adjust in order to allow precise fitting which is not easy in older houses. He was patient and accommodated when I changed some things as well. He added a beautiful pull out spice rack and so much storage. I love my new kitchen and everyone loves the soft close drawers. Submitting it to Houzz. Chase’s price is competitive with other professionals. You get what you pay for, quality and service and warranty. Thanks Chase!” – Avril M-N.

Perfect Symmetry and Ultimate Storage

Achieving perfect symmetry is one of those things Chase loves to accomplish in a design like this wall-to-wall built-in cabinetry project. Staying organized with a ‘place for everything and everything in its place’, is his personal obsession so he really enjoys custom builds that assist clients to meet their storage and organizational needs. We are really pleased with the way this cabinetry turned out and R&J and their boys now have plenty of storage space in their family media room. Thank you for allowing Chase Cabinetry the opportunity to complete this, and your kitchen cabinet extension project.

A 12′ “coffee counter” addition to an existing kitchen for a client in Oakville. Features all soft close hinges and drawers slides, dovetail solid maple drawer boxes and a butcher block countertop.

A Great Kitchen starts with CHASE quality

This project presented a challenge because it required building a kitchen cabinet extension to an existing kitchen that was now nine years old. Chase was a bit apprehensive about being able to match the cabinet doors and crown moulding profiles, the counter top and the cabinet colouring. However, with some effort and perseverance, the client’s goals were achieved. The existing counter top however, was no longer available so Chase recommended going with a butcher block counter top that would contrast nicely with the existing one. The client agreed; and the end result is stunning. From the pre-build concept drawing to project completion, this was a great kitchen cabinet addition project to work on. Many thanks to J&R for allowing Chase Cabinetry the opportunity to complete this kitchen cabinet and counter top project, and their wall-to-wall built-in cabinetry project.
